BTS’s SUGA Donates ₩5 Billion to Launch Autism Treatment Center in His Name

BTS’s SUGA has once again proven that his impact goes far beyond music. On June 23, Severance Hospital announced a groundbreaking collaboration with the global superstar to open a dedicated treatment center for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Named the Min Yoongi Treatment Center , the facility will focus on long-term, personalized care — blending clinical therapy with cutting-edge research — and officially broke ground at Jejungwon Hall that same day. What sets this initiative apart isn't just the ₩5 billion (approximately $3.6 million USD) donation — the largest ever by an artist to Severance or Yonsei Medical Center — but the heart and hands-on involvement behind it. Music with a Mission SUGA has long been known for his philanthropic spirit and advocacy for mental health, particularly among youth. But this project reflects something deeper — a desire to make music more than just art, but a bridge to healing. In late 2023, SUGA began working closely with Professo...

"Scammed?! BTS’s Jin Gets Candid in Lie Detector Interview — And You Won’t Believe What Fooled Him!"

BTS member Jin opened up about a time he was scammed during a recent interview

Move over spy dramas—BTS’s Jin just gave us a plot twist straight out of a K-drama, and it involves a scammer, a lie detector, and a whole lot of honesty.

In a recent sit-down with Vanity Fair, the Worldwide Handsome singer took a polygraph for a spin and spilled more than just his nerves.

“I’m nervous because it’s my first time doing a shoot in such a serious atmosphere,” Jin confessed at the start of the test—his usual humor dimmed just a touch by the pressure of truth or lie.

But things got unexpectedly real when the conversation turned to trust. Jin revealed that even before his debut, he had a healthy suspicion of talent scouts. “I got casting offers from several agencies, but I thought they were all scams,” he admitted. “I don’t trust people easily.” (Honestly, same.)

That strong gut instinct may serve him well most of the time, but even Jin isn’t scam-proof. When the lie detector asked if he had ever been scammed, he let out a knowing laugh and confessed: online games got him.

Yes, really.

“I used to play a lot of games, and I got scammed in several of them,” he said. “I bought items with real money, but the other person said, ‘I’m just going to take your money and run,’ and they did.”

Brutal. Even global superstars aren’t safe from in-game thieves.

As if that wasn’t enough, Jin recalled another moment that could’ve landed him on a scam watchlist himself. After losing his phone, he tried to reconnect with someone who clearly wasn’t convinced. “They hung up on me and said, ‘This isn’t the right number,’” he laughed. Ouch.

Still, Jin assures us, he’s no scatterbrain. “I don’t usually lose my belongings,” he emphasized, hinting that while he's sharp and careful, no one is invincible when it comes to internet trickery.

From heartthrob to humble—Jin’s honesty is just another reason fans adore him. And who knew? Behind that superstar smile is a gamer with a few hard-earned lessons about online trust.
