BTS’s SUGA Donates ₩5 Billion to Launch Autism Treatment Center in His Name

BTS’s SUGA has once again proven that his impact goes far beyond music. On June 23, Severance Hospital announced a groundbreaking collaboration with the global superstar to open a dedicated treatment center for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Named the Min Yoongi Treatment Center , the facility will focus on long-term, personalized care — blending clinical therapy with cutting-edge research — and officially broke ground at Jejungwon Hall that same day. Koo Jun Yup Reportedly Plans to Settle Near Late Wife Barbie Hsu’s Final Resting Place

In a heartfelt gesture of love and remembrance, singer Koo Jun Yup is reportedly considering a move to Jinbo Mountain, the serene resting place of his late wife, Barbie Hsu.

According to Taiwanese media outlet ET Today, a local resident revealed that around two months ago, Koo was seen touring a newly built apartment complex near Jinbo Mountain. The area is known for its peaceful surroundings and scenic views—some units even overlook the very mountain where Barbie Hsu now rests.

Though it remains unconfirmed whether Koo has made a purchase, Barbie’s mother responded to the reports, saying:

“I haven’t heard anything like that. But Koo Jun Yup truly loved Hsi Yuan (Barbie).”

Barbie Hsu tragically passed away on February 2 while vacationing in Japan during the Lunar New Year. The cause of death was acute pneumonia caused by influenza. Her funeral was held on March 15 at the Rose Garden in Jinbo Mountain, Taiwan. Koo Jun Yup, devastated but devoted, was seen carrying her urn and staying by her side until her final moments.

Since her passing, Koo has reportedly made daily visits to her grave, and he is also in the process of creating a statue in her honor—set for completion in 2026.

If true, Koo’s desire to live near Jinbo Mountain speaks volumes about the depth of his love—a love that endures even in silence and distance.
