JDB Entertainment CEO Lee Kang Hee Accused of Affair with Girl Group Member

JDB Entertainment CEO Lee Kang Hee, a married father of two and a familiar face from MBC’s variety show Point of Omniscient Interfere, has been accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a female idol referred to as “B”, according to multiple industry sources on June 17.

Reports indicate that Lee and B were frequently seen meeting one-on-one after official schedules, holding hands and embracing in public late at night. A source from the performance industry claimed that Lee often picked B up in a luxury vehicle for private outings and that the two were noticeably close, with B consistently sitting beside Lee during group events.

An executive from JDB Entertainment, identified only as “C,” confirmed that Lee admitted to having a personal relationship with B. The executive stated, “The company staff recently became aware of the affair. Given the gravity of the matter, the company is currently reviewing what disciplinary actions to take against Lee.”

When approached by TenAsia on June 16, Lee responded to the allegations by saying, "I cannot say anything at this time."

In an official statement released via social media, JDB Entertainment noted that Lee is currently unable to directly manage the situation. The company assured the public that its internal team is addressing the issue in a structured, phased approach.

Amid the controversy, B has deactivated her personal social media account, further fueling speculation and concern among fans and the general public.

The matter continues to unfold as industry watchers and the public await further statements or actions from the company.
