“BTS’ RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook Set to Greet Fans After Military Discharge — BIGHIT Urges ARMY to Stay Put”
The long-awaited reunion of BTS is almost here — and ARMYs worldwide are holding their breath. With RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook days away from completing their military service, BIGHIT MUSIC has finally unveiled how the final four will mark their return… but there’s a catch.
Rather than appearing at their military bases, the members will greet fans in private, pre-designated locations — without public gatherings. According to BIGHIT, these moments will be brief and closed-door, meant for essential staff only. The goal? To allow the members to reflect on their service and share a few heartfelt words — safely and respectfully.
Where will the greetings happen?
On June 5, BIGHIT revealed that RM and V, who enlisted together in late 2023 but served in different elite units — RM in the STF for capital defense and V in SDT, an anti-terrorism unit — will share their post-discharge messages from Chuncheon. Meanwhile, Jimin and Jungkook, who were enrolled together through the military’s companion program, will greet fans from Yeoncheon.
“There will be no public event at the bases,” the agency emphasized, citing safety concerns due to narrow roads and limited space. “We kindly ask fans to refrain from visiting military installations.”
What happens after they’re back?
While excitement is building around BTS’ full reunion, BIGHIT and HYBE have been cautious with their language. There are no confirmed public schedules for the group just yet — unlike the high-energy fan reception for Jin after his return. HYBE previously stated that BTS’ regrouping will follow a “detailed and gradual process.”
And although Jungkook has been the subject of global tour rumors, no official word has confirmed any post-service plans for the members. Most wrapped up solo promotions before enlisting, making an immediate comeback unlikely — but not impossible.
Where are the rest of BTS now?
Jin and J-Hope have already returned to the spotlight. Jin dropped a full solo album titled Happy, followed by his dual comeback Echo in April and May 2025. J-Hope is making waves with tracks like Dreams (feat. Miguel) and MONA LISA, and he just launched his tour, Killin’ It Girl, packing out stadiums across the globe.
SUGA, who’s fulfilling his military duty in the public sector due to a past shoulder injury, is expected to complete his service on June 21.
With all seven members soon reunited, BTS’ new chapter is about to begin — and though we may not know what it looks like just yet, one thing’s for sure: the world is watching, and ARMY is ready.
